SR-7 gives you a quiet space to capture ideas, conversations, and observations, then turns them into something you can search, skim, and build on. Everything runs on your device. When you're ready, iCloud sync brings your library across Mac and iPhone, and the MCP server opens your archive to AI tools. On your terms, not theirs.

High-fidelity audio recording with pause and resume. A physics-based reel-to-reel visualisation and live waveform don't distract but immerse and reassure that nothing is lost.
02 — On-Device Transcription
Powered by the Apple Speech framework, SR-7 transcribes audio at high speed entirely on your device. Support for multiple languages. No network connection required, no cloud processing, no waiting.
03 — AI Titles & Summaries
FoundationModels on macOS 26+ generates descriptive titles and concise summaries locally on your hardware. Every recording becomes searchable and skimmable — no cloud AI required.

Your Data, Your Workflows
Recordings and transcripts are stored as ordinary files that you can access on your Mac. You can use these Markdown files in your notes app, your Git repository, your archive. They're yours.
Expressing your thoughts via the spoken word is unique. SR-7 keeps that richness intact. And through a built-in MCP server, you can access, manipulate, and utilise your entire library with AI tools and agents while maintaining an intentional way of working and recording.

06 — Markdown Export
Auto-export recordings as Markdown files with YAML front matter. Integrates naturally with Obsidian, PKM systems, and any Markdown-based workflow.
07 — iCloud Sync
CloudKit keeps your recordings, transcriptions, and metadata synchronized across all your Apple devices. Pick up wherever you left off.
08 — USB & MTP Import
On macOS, import audio files from USB drives and Android devices via MTP. Bring recordings from field recorders, phones, and other hardware directly into your library.
09 — MCP Server
On macOS, SR-7 can run a local HTTP server implementing the Model Context Protocol. Expose your recordings, transcriptions, and summaries to AI tools and agents — on your terms.
