Chaos Studies ("the App") is designed with privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS, macOS, and Playdate application for exploring strange attractor visualizations.
Privacy-First Design
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens locally on your device, and no information is sent to external servers.

What: Accelerometer data for parallax effects
Purpose: To create immersive motion-responsive visualizations
Storage: Not stored; used only in real-time, never transmitted
What: Display mode preference (light/dark), sound settings

The App may request the following system permissions:
Used for parallax effects that respond to device tilt. You can disable this in settings and the app will function without it.
You can revoke permissions at any time through your device's system settings.
Distributed through the App Store and follows Apple's strict privacy guidelines. The app runs in a secure sandbox environment with all system access controlled by platform permissions.
The Playdate version uses the device's accelerometer for parallax and crank for rotation. No data leaves the device; all processing is local.
